15TH ANNUAL

100K Vertical Ski & Snowboard Challenge

February 8, 2027 · Whitetail Ski Resort

Conquer the Slopes. Change Lives.

Join the 15th Annual 100K Ski & Snowboard Vertical Challenge.

Every vertical foot you ski or snowboard helps Two Top Mountain Adaptive Sports Foundation open the slopes to athletes with disabilities. Gather your squad or become a corporate sponsor to make a difference.

100% of your donation goes to Two Top. The optional contribution at checkout supports Zeffy’s free platform. It is completely optional and can be set to $0.

Your Challenge

Complete 100,000 vertical feet on skis or a snowboard as a team.

Every descent you conquer helps us create accessible experiences and build welcoming spaces for athletes of all abilities. This is a team event: gather your crew, hit the slopes together, and fundraise as you go.

  • Complete 100,000 vertical feet on skis or snowboard
  • Raise funds and awareness for adaptive sports

This is a team-only event — solo registration isn’t available. Teams range from 4 to 10 members, and, while there is no cost to register, each team has a mandatory fundraising goal that scales with your roster size. Every member you add above the 4-person baseline adds $500 to your team’s total goal.

Funds raised by each individual team member count automatically toward your team’s overall goal.

How Team Fundraising Works

6 members $3,000
7 members $3,500

FAQs

Do I have to be an experienced skier or rider to participate?

This team event involves completing over 100 runs down Whitetail’s blue terrain. If you’re comfortable skiing or riding from the top, you’ll be able to participate without a problem.

Do I need my full team at the time of registration?

No — you just need one team member to complete registration. You can recruit the rest of your team afterward.

Is this event a race?

No. The 100K is an endurance challenge and a fundraiser for Two Top Mountain Adaptive Sports Foundation — no prizes are given for finishing first. Safety is our top priority: anyone treating the event like a race (tucking, or skiing in a way our safety staff considers out of control) will not be allowed to complete the event.

What happens if my team doesn't meet the minimum fundraising requirement?

The 100K is, at its heart, a fundraiser — that’s why we set minimum fundraising goals. That said, we’ve never had a team or participant fall short, because our team is glad to offer fundraising tips and support along the way. See our Fundraising Tips for ideas to get started.

Can I get sponsors, like my employer or a local business, instead of only asking friends and family?

Absolutely — we encourage it. To help incentivize business sponsorship, we offer several sponsorship levels with benefits like logo placement and event recognition.

Fundraising Tips

Make Yourself Known

Each participant page has a spot to talk about yourself or your team and share why you’re doing the event. Be sure to fill it out so people know who you are and why you’re participating. Just like online dating, profiles with pictures get more attention than those without, so include a photo of you or your team.

Give to Yourself First

Start by making a donation to yourself online. Your gift sets the tone for others to give, and it feels great to see something other than a goose egg next to your name.

Contact Everyone

Send emails to everyone in your contact list: friends, family, co-workers. You never know who will be touched by the event’s mission and surprise you with a donation. Consider following up before the event to share your progress toward your fundraising goal.

Write From the Heart

Heartfelt, personal messages get the best response. Let potential donors know if you’re skiing in honor of someone, and why the cause matters to you personally.

Double Down

Many employers offer matching gift programs. Ask your HR department if your $50 donation could turn into $100 through a program like this.

Talk Yourself Up

Take twotopadaptive.org/100k everywhere you go and ask everyone you interact with to sponsor you. You could try: “Next weekend, I’ll be skiing 100,000 vertical feet in a day to support a nonprofit that provides adaptive skiing and snowboarding to veterans and individuals with disabilities.” Consider asking for a few minutes on the agenda at work meetings, too.

Donation Per Run

Work out a deal where people donate based on how many runs you ski. Make it tiered if you like, such as $1 per run for runs 1-50 and $2 per run for runs 51 and up.

Corporate Sponsorship

Ask your company to make a donation. Visit local businesses in your area and ask them to give.

Auction It Off

Auction off your team name, a costume you’ll wear on event day, a photo on your donation page, or a quote on the back of your bib. Donors get to have fun while supporting a good cause.

Gift It Forward

Have a birthday coming up? Consider asking family and friends to donate to your fundraising campaign in lieu of a gift.
